So Fell Autumn Rain Lyrics
Leaving with twilight though I was chosen
To wander the way in the dakest of nights
Oh, in the summer sun how soon I came to stray
A true damnation, when I turned away
So fell autumn rain, washed away all my pain
I feel brighter somehow, lighter somehow to breathe once again
So fell autumn rain, washed my sorrows away
With the sunset behind somehow I find the dreams are to stay
So fell autumn rain
Blinded by dawning so you would take me
Further away, away from the fall
Oh, you told me I must never dream again
A true damnation, you left me the pain
So fell autumn rain, but all things must pass
So fell autumn rain, washed away all my pain
I feel brighter somehow, lighter somehow to breathe once again
So fell autumn rain, washed my sorrows away
With the sunset behind somehow I find the dreams are to stay
So fell winter
To wander the way in the dakest of nights
Oh, in the summer sun how soon I came to stray
A true damnation, when I turned away
I feel brighter somehow, lighter somehow to breathe once again
So fell autumn rain, washed my sorrows away
With the sunset behind somehow I find the dreams are to stay
So fell autumn rain
Further away, away from the fall
Oh, you told me I must never dream again
A true damnation, you left me the pain
I feel brighter somehow, lighter somehow to breathe once again
So fell autumn rain, washed my sorrows away
With the sunset behind somehow I find the dreams are to stay
So fell winter

what can ý say:)?
This is a very nicely done song. Lake of Tears is great.
hellz yeah!
The song is so great! The first time I listened to it was a night with heavy rain. I heard the sound of the raindrops and the wind right outside the window... and suddenly it remided me of a classic poem I'd learned in my secondary and high school: Tiếng khoan như gió thoảng vời Tiếng mau sầm sập như trời đổ mưa... ( The slow rhythm is like the breeze far away The fast one is like the heavy rain with thunderstorm) It's strange that a rock song of a band in the West can remind me of a poem in my own country... Lake of Tears and their music is wonderful.
This is one of my favourite tracks right now. Really beautiful stuff. The great aspect to these lyrics are the fact that they are both intensely sad, and transcedentally full of hope and self-empowerment.
The singer details how he tried to walk the right path but in the sunshine he strayed and fell aside in dejection, only to have autumn rain wash away his pain and sins to lift him up again. What a beautiful thought that is...flawlessly executed. Really great song.
'I feel brighter somehow, ligher somehow, to breath once again'
Intentional or not, this seems to have parallels in spirit and content to Ray Bradbury's "There Will Come Soft Rains".
