Sorrow 16 Lyrics

Cut your hair in front of businessmen
Kill yourself and censor health
Destroy words and ignore their truth
Wanna die and have never worked

I feel like falling
I feel like falling
I can't feel, no need to care
Narcotic of ambition poisoned my air
Wearing hate like you wear money
Spitting out Perrier and sucking down Vodka
Oh the road is beautiful
You live stoned on obedience
Your vanity kills people
Paint your ego in blood

The wall is a reason for you to believe
There's too many numbers for us to sleep
The wall is a reason for you to believe
There's too many numbers for us to sleep

Since no one else has said anything, I love this song, if only for the lines "Your vanity kills people, paint your ego in blood". Sums up a huge amount of Western image culture to me... How far people will go to improve their appearance, usually at the expense of others. Of course, I partake in it as much as most other people.

The lyrics for this are so dreadful but delivered in such a comical way that I can't help but laugh. The first verse especially makes me laugh. "Kill yourself and censor health", lolz. This should have been a single.

This song is the reason every Manics fan is able to spell 'beautiful' correctly...
