Letting Go, Letting You

On my own the walk is rough, but I’ll get home. My strength and will are all that’s required for I am able alone. Take this burden from me 'cause it’s heavy on my back. I’m falling down, falling short, falling through the cracks. My internal war is fought with angst, struggling to prevail. Strike me down, Break my soul, for then I’ll surely hail.
