My god, I have been relating to this song for years. No matter what romantic relationship or situation was going on at the time I could always hear this song and identify with it.

it's about that couple month period after a breakup when you're..pathetic..no, no delusional is a good word, yes you're delusional and you think that if you just pass enough time that the other person will come to their senses and realize that their new love doesn't smell half as good as you do..if you know what i mean(roughly what Jewel said on one of her instant live CD's as an intro to this lovely song) haha..gotta love Jewel.
