Shower Your Love Lyrics

Shower your love on me
Don't make it so hard to cry
Shower your love on me
You don't need a reason why

'Cos I'm not even half way there
But I'm just too stupid to care
So help me now
Before I'm through

The scenes in my open mind
Confusion and flashing lights
Shower your love on me
'Cos nothing here feels right

'Cos I'm not even half way there
But I'm just too stupid to care
So help me now
I've done all I can do

Shower your love on me

I can't wait, I'm losing faith
Like we may just explode
Oh, comfort me with a melody
Show me that I'm gonna know the answer
Show me that I'm gonna know

Shower your love on me
Don't make it so hard to cry
Shower your love on me
You don't need a reason why
Don't make it so hard to cry
Shower your love on me
Shower your love on me

it pains me deeply that no one else has commented on this song yet. when i was younger, i used to sing along to this at the top of my lungs, and anyone who heard me could just be damned. i'm not even sure that i gave the real meaning of the song much thought then, since it was more about the rush and exhiliration that the song gave me. just pure, unbridled joy. moments like that are few and far between these days.

Oh Gosh! This song brings me back many memories.Probably the besy thing Kula Shaker ever did in their short-lived carreer.I guess it's simply about a guy who's asking this girl to marry him and his feelings before she gives him an answer.Could be totaly wrong though but i guess the meaning isn't really important in here.

I want that song to be about a lover but I really think it's about some deity. Crispian Mills is kind of religious, I believe, though not necessarily christian. So maybe it's about having faith in your god when you're confused. But I really really love that song! (even if I'm not religious)

My Interpretation

I believe this song is a "wedding" song. In India, they shower flowers and uncooked rice on brides to be at the end of the ceremony. It is perhaps the most emotional moment for an Indian bride and hence the reference to the tears.
