Sandbox Magician Lyrics
strip it off and scale the wall
i am the mask that talks inside that concrete flesh
i am the king now
tell me nothing
i am the fool for a day
concrete playground hides the valley
make me the king so i can strip it off
who is the fool today?
friend?
a new idea from you stagnant mind
and you must always fall before the clown
i can beat you
i can cheat you
can i be you?
i am the mask that talks inside that concrete flesh
i am the king now
tell me nothing
i am the fool for a day
concrete playground hides the valley
make me the king so i can strip it off
who is the fool today?
friend?
a new idea from you stagnant mind
and you must always fall before the clown
i can beat you
i can cheat you
can i be you?

I get the impression that the lyrics to this song are about how spontaneous children are in terms of judgement - One day they might want to befriend another child, but the next day, might not even want to associate with that other child.
this song has the coolest outro ever.
no one's commented this in almost two years! either way, amazing song from an amazing band. :]
This song is about dangerously sneaky kids. Kids who cause trouble and from day one on the playground; display an unsettling mask of invincibility. Only to worsen as they grow up. But the feeling of invincibility is acquired at an early age. The line "I can beat you, I can cheat you, Can I be you?" Are the child's attitude towards the idea of god. Kowing that he can beat him and cheat him. It's not too long until he realizes he might be him. And that's the Sandbox Magician folks. SICK
I think he screams "Now who's the fool?!" at the very beginning of the song
