Jimmy Tango's Method Lyrics
the amateur camera captures her motion as perfectly as the strangle knot confine that she wears on her wrists. the trunk preserves the new car scent of the princess skin. disinfectant spit adding luster to chapped lips. if she comes to, i'll tell er that she's beautiful. all these flies have gathered in admiration. perhaps we should offer them a new wound. i think you're right, this isn't really happening. can't get the smell out. can't get the mascara off the upholstery. still everyone keeps laughing at me. oh god, this is all going to end badly. if you don't wake up, i'll have to stop kissing you. all that flailing has made you sleepy. you rest while i untie you. stay here until they find you. we've got some time before the reverie ends. i've combed my hair, brought you your sunday dress. tonight we'll magnetize the eyes of the whole town. my hand made mannequin. i won't let them get you. they'll know you're mine by the fingerprints on your throat. isn't she lovely? isn't she wonderful? like the whores that we are, swatting flies from the wounds we design. this is not about fear. paranoia is a disease of the unarmed. this is beauty. a sickening concern for the transcience of flesh. we keep our screams behind the gag, i'll keep my baby breath in a glad bag.

This song enchantingly describes the sheer panic (That I know You and I both have felt on more than one occasion) that sets in after you've realized, but not totally come to grips with, the fact that you have accidently suffocated your lover after binding and gaging her and placing her in your trunk for safekeeping. The lyrics evoke a twisted sympathy for the narrator, yet retain a coal-black sense of humor regarding the messy situation.
well i would think keith knows how to spell his own last name. haha
This is about a guy who was in love with a girl who wouldn't have him so he tied her up, threw her in his trunk, and accidently killed her, because he got mad she wouldn't be his.
the line "if you dont wake up, i'll have to stop kissing you"...makes me think of necrophilia
"this is a feel good song about keeping a girl in the trunk of your car"
These guys are really talented....a lot of people don't give them the credit they deserve.....they have great lyrical ability....the new singer kicks the old singers ass!!!!
Ths is my favorite band in the world ive loved everytime i die for like ever as long as ive been into hardcore music ive liked them ive been wanting to get thier cd but i cant find it anywhere damnit! but this song is the my favorite out of all the songs:D
It's not a love song at all, it's a social commentary about how the media force feeds us beauty, essentially turning females into mannequins. The comparison sticks through out the song...though it's much tougher to think it's about some guy tieing up his girlfriend and throwing her in the trunk it's just not the case. This band is amazingly deep the lyrics are just so incredible through all of their songs, and unless you look really closely you usually over look the real meanings.
yeah i agree.. near the end is where you can understand that part.
It's very obvious this song is indeed talking about what fadingreflection was talking about. I think it's most obvious in the line "this is beauty. A sickening concern for the transience of flesh." It's talking about how celebrities become obsessed with their skin aging and loosing their beauty. This band has quite possibly the best lyrics I've ever read.
