Who's Jon Lyrics

Your god damned uncle changed you some when you were five more than once. Your near-sighted family toasting healthy alive. Nothing Else. Your burning southern shelter pushed you north to arrive and ignore a close friend some ecstasy taking off new clothes for the truth. Who's Jon anyway? What does he mean? What did you expect me to say? Salty bodies of your half-brothers born reside behind locked doors. Fever-pitched, drunk regret, holes in your lungs staying alive. A lie.

To me, it means that there are somethings that will always be kept inside of a person. The terrible things that can happen to you can't be let out, if they are, it makes them worse, or no one believes you...hence the "lie" but maybe I am interpretting it quite wrong and reading too far into it meshing it with my own life experiences.

I think this is about a boy who has been molested but his uncle, but the family is "near-sighted" and doesn't realize what's going on. He then moves to the north because it seems to be more tolerant (he is gay) than the south. When he gets to the north he starts on a path of self distruction.

...or at least that's what I get out of it.
