Great song! I work in civil rights and whenever I feel a little down, I listen to this song. I wasn't around when it was originally released, but some veterans of the cause told me it was intended for that purpose... To give hope for a better tomorrow... If you guys get the chance, listen to the verison that Nina Simone sings.
