Who's Got the Crack?

OK I can't believe i'm actually making a serious comment on a song called "who's got the crack," but I wanted to comment on the line "I wanna be a hippie But I forgot how to love" I think they are saying that back in the 60's hippies thought they were going to change the world and they used a lot of drugs because they thought an altered state of conciousness would actually help them to acheive their goals. Nowdays, the recklesness and freedom of being a hippie has stayed, but everyone has fogotten the ideals that they stood for, and its just sort of an iconized fashion statement.

The libertines cover is quite funny, they use the line 'I'd rather be reckless than rockless', which i thought was quite good, and they all sound off their heads its hilarious.
