to me this is about a relationship that is changing and evolving. Although the two people still care for each other the way they feel for each other is constantly chaging. They now realize how much they need each other in the end.

I disagree. I thinkt he demos are very good. And are you people blind and/or deaf? This song is obviously about his relationship with Dave and how much Dave has bettered his life and how they're having problems.

SAVES THE DAY- UPS & DOWNS: EARLY RECORDINGS AND B-SIDES In some songs they sound really young, but all in all, good cd.
this song is so true to life. People change , they become so different. I'm not the person I was 5 months ago, and every day I see my friends changing. I hate saves the day for being spot on with all the stuff they sing. :/
