out of all STD's songs this is the only one that i can't even interpret into my own thing, let alone the 'right' thing. i mean i guess i can take out the idea that just believe in what you want i suppose.. "when ten million people all believe in the same thing how could they be wrong" ..easily i suppose.. give MORE input:-)
yeah this one is sort of weirder hey? almost as if its like society punk stuff. I have tried i dont have a clue at all about this one.
its about change. and becoming something, along the lines of "yourself". its about not going with the crowd. and knowing that sometimes being different makes you part of "the minority". but that he feels so strongly about his completeness, he knows what it feels like...to feel "right"
Musically this is the only STD song that i don't like. I wish i could so i could say that i love every one of their songs, but this one just doesn't do anyhting for me - o well?
I think this song is about finding closure in a relationship, finding it your own way. the lyrics keep saying, 'i don't think i miss a thing' and 'the world doesn't understand' He doesn't miss the relationship that he was in, and the world aka society doesn't understand why it's like that, how he got to feeling the way he does and what not. Everyone has their own ways with dealing with things, no one understands him.
. like venusstar said, he knows what makes him feel complete and right and thats all that matters to him. he's always had other peoples ideas determine what was best for him, and thats why he hasnt felt like he was ever living for himself. but now that he thinks for himself he knows he doesnt have to be thought of as "right" by society to be happy. phew, thats all. its so hard to explain so i s'pose thats why i sound like a rambling idiot.
god, mep8503, you're a complete idiot...not every song is about a relationship...try using your head and THINKING about what it could possibly mean instead of just trying to attribute every line to a broken relationship

i think this song is really cute. "when ten million people all believe in the same thing how could they be wrong?" it's easy to believe so many people because that is what you hear/what they tell you. it's all about thinking outside of the box and indivdually in some form or another.
this is a toughy, maybe the world is moving faster than this guy is growing up, and its getting to him, things are changing.
