Gawd, this is such a great song. And as RivalSchools said so perfectly correct "one of the best songs by one of the best bands"... it's about seeing a girl for the first time and falling in love. Just feeling that connection, knowing that you're gonna be great w/ someone before it even gets to that point. Chris Conley words it so well.

i agree with holysweet, this song is amazing and this band is truly one of the best bands i have ever listened to. their so amazing and their lyrics are really important and add so much emotion to their songs.
Connley speaks so pure in this poem. When i remember shit from my past, i can only remember random ass shit... like riding a bike down hill one day then goin home... i never remember birthdays or weddings or any of that supposedly memorable crap... i think its because i only remember the best of what was normal to me... here Connley was having a normal day but seeing that girl is what made it best for him... inculding the summer mist, wet patio, warm ginger ale and all that good shit.
