i love this song. i dont know why.. maybe because the girl who got me into savestheday really liked this song and sang it all the time. but either way its amazing. rock

This song is amazing. It describes how awesome it is to get away and just have some distance to realize what everything means to you. The line "sometimes taking off can open up your eyes to everything that lies in your heart" to me that means that only by leaving what you have can you realize how much it truly means to you. In this case, he is speaking of his girlfriend. By being away 3 weeks he realizes how much he misses her and how much she means to him.

Yeah, I think we can all realize how much everything means to us by just getting away for awhile. We always talk about Chris being a good lyricist and he is... but Dave did this song really well.

Ted wrote the music for this song and I will always listen to this in loving memory of him. He was the best and it is a crying shame what happened.

yeah i hate to say it but ted isn't in the band anymore and he wasn't the singer. but listen to saves the day anyway cause it doesn't matter if you know who sings, they deserve to be listened to as long as whoever's listening can really appreciate it. anyway, i have a feeling this song is about touring and being on the road doing shows and stuff and he's just thinking about how amazing the experience has been but it's bittersweet cause he really longs to see his girlfriend or whoever it is that's on his mind. that's what i think.
