i relate to this song because i always mess up my relationships somehow
This song is about how he had a relationship with a girl who he felt great about and they planned a great future but somehow he just forgot about who she was and that she was even there. 'I wasn't supposed to forget your taste'. He can't help but remember her, and wishes he didn't fuck things up.
Yeah, this is a song about Chris remembering a past relationship that obviously didn't work out. Maybe he resents that it didn't and maybe he's thinking positively and thinking, well it was all for the best but I had fun while it lasted. Who knows?
i think i have to agree with allstarme, well the poster, its about chris loving this girl so much when he was around her and how much he loved her, and then he wasn't around her for a while and didn't really miss her. so now he feels bad. I swear he's spying on me.

i saw these guys live, this was the second song they played and it was AMAZING...one of the best nights of my life. if you like STD...see them live, they put on an awesome show, especially with this song.
I like how Chris is so critical of himself... it reminds me of myself sometimes cause im usually make fun of myself when i do sometime stupid.... He calls this song All-star me cause he's satirizing what he thought he was while goin out with this girl... he grew his ego a little too big and fucked it all up but its all good now cause he knows he was out of his mind.
