this was a bowie cover perfomed live in portland 1/31/01. yay! i got to see it!
actually they did this song every show of this leg of the tour just like they did vacant every show of the previous leg...I saw them do it in minneapolis, mn...they're an awsome live band...and an awsome studio band...they're just a great band all around...not as good as tool though...

i think they are equally as good as tool. I used to say tool was better but then this one just wouldn't come out of my cd player. I listen to it at least twice a day (the whole cd). I love them

reverand chris this song isnt even on any of their cd's. i love liana its diary of a madman, lovesong is a competely different song.
APC is just so damn good. This song is perfect, even if the only available version is live. Maynard is one of the few singers who actually sounds as good live as in a studio-recorded track.
ehh i dont know...this song doesnt sound like apc usually sounds like...im not hot for it, sounds more like a very rocked out country song
jamesherbertkeenan, i love liana wasn't wrong. APC covered both Diary of a Madman and Lovesong at the same time, the verses were Diary of a Madman while the chorus was Lovesong. I could be wrong on how it was done but the cover is both songs so it's actually quite appropriate to call it Diary of a Lovesong.
