this song is quite obviously about people who have committed suiced. no one realizes how precious life is until it's taken away from someone close to them. But by then it's too late. the person is gone and they did nothing to stop it.

i remember reading a poem that sort of relates to this it was about a man who regreted not taking risks basically to me didn't "seize the day" and it was too late to change anything becasue he was dead...agreed with Loci :]
