this song is about M. shadows one friend who tried to kill himself(Jusntin Sane; Old A7X bass player) by drinking bottles of cough medicine. he live but had sever brain damage. you see, he had severe depression. back to song... it's about how he supports him want him to stop hurting himself ask for help were here for you. it tells a little about his life. he's scared next time he tries to hurt himself he'll die.

Que? Only 3 comments. Well, I guess all the other kids havent heard Avenged's old stuff. Well, to me this song is about a friend who is hurting him or herself and is extremely depressed. Shadows is trying to do something to help the person and have him or her be the person he/she used to be. He thinks that together they can fight through the problem. Badass song though. One of my favorites on Sounding the 7th. And for all you critics, City of Evil doensn't suck, it's just REALLY different. A7X still owns. peace out.

this song hits me in a highly personal way, my ex is a horribly alcoholic. i kills me to hear of him being drunk, i'm so afraid he'll die of alcohol poisoning or getting into a car with someone else who's been drinking. i don't want to see him that way, i wish i could have saved him from that lifestyle.

this song hits too close to home. it reminds me of my friends and i and how all wed ever do for months was drink n do drugs n i got out of it but my friends- especially the one i was the closest to- havent :(
