Lolita Lyrics

Lolita
Almost grown
Lolita
Go on home

Hey girl
Don't be a dog all your life
Don't beg for
Some little crumb of affection

Don't try
To be somebody's wife
So young
You need a word of protection

Lolita
Almost grown
Lolita
Go on home

Hey girl
I've been where you are standing
Leaning in the doorway
In your mother's black dress

So hungry
For the one understanding
Looking for a token of
Blood or tenderness

Lolita
Almost grown
Lolita
Go on home

Lolita...

it sounds like it's ridiculing a girl for being desperate, not just for being a lolita.

Loving someone bigger? As in size-wise...? Or did you mean older?

Either way, this song is very obviously directed at THE Lolita from Nabokovs book. When Humbert Humbert rediscovers Lolita, I believe there is a scene or a snippet at least where she is standing in the doorway. Anyway, haven't heard the song, just an incredible fan of the book and it caught my eye.

SPOILER FOR LOLITA I think its for the last part of Lolita, where Humbert begs Lolita to go with him, i love the part where he finally understands that he stole Lolita's innocence and simply doesn't care
