sammie jo, I know exactly how you feel. The situation you described sounds too farmiliar with myself and my best friend. I will always love him a little more than I should for best friend purposes. He knows how much I care about him and the thing is, it is mutual. No, he doesn't think of me anymore as girlfriend type love and caring, but we still tell each other we love each other and slowly I am learning to let go of the guy I fell for and hang on tight to the best friend I have. I've loved like I should and lived like I shouldn't, but I am finding the right road with his help.

Being only fourteen, some might say I haven't lived long enough to say that this song reminds me of myself. But, it does. I have yet to face my demons.. and be at peace with myself, but this song gives me a little hope.. in a way I think they're trying to say that it's okay to move on, that the past is the past and it will never change so just live.. because you have your whole life ahead of you. That's just how I interpreted this song though. Heh.

this song makes me cry. every single time i listen to it, I cry. It reminds me of my ex boyfriend and how i'm still living in the past.
to me, this song is all about being hung up on someone for so long... that you just get so comfortable with them..."but i never dreamed home would end up where i dont belong" its like your just so comfortable with someone, and its all you've known, crushing on them for the longest time, building a relationsip, and then all of a sudden your not welcome anymore and they start to shut you out...and you regret things youve done to cause them to feel that way... and eventually you realize that you have to move on, they're not the only one out there, there are other ppl that can effect you too... and you havent wasted your time cause "life has been patiently waiting for me".
This was my senior song. So it means a lot to me. It says to me to live life as i should and treasure the moments i have with the ones that i love and those who love me.
