I'm a Cult Hero Lyrics
I'm a cult hero
A dream come true
You want to touch me
But you can't get through
I walk on water and I don't get wet
I've got something you won't forget
I'm a cult hero, payed my dues
I'm a cult hero, got nothing to lose
I'm a cult hero
I'm a cult hero
I'm ahead of my time
You'll never rule me
Cause I'm all mine
Bounce off of me
Cause I'm so strong
My time is coming and it won't be long
Save us
A dream come true
You want to touch me
But you can't get through
I walk on water and I don't get wet
I've got something you won't forget
I'm a cult hero, payed my dues
I'm a cult hero, got nothing to lose
I'm a cult hero
I'm ahead of my time
You'll never rule me
Cause I'm all mine
Bounce off of me
Cause I'm so strong
My time is coming and it won't be long

this is i think the cure with some postman freind they had in the pub doing the vocals between two beers or something.
Yep. Their postman. He wore a T-shirt with "I'm a cult hero" on it.
yeah! hahah they played the song AGAIN about a few years ago with the same guy. pretty funny
I found this song on 7" for about £12? I really hated it though, despite its rarity
"I'm A Cult Hero" was a single put together by Robert Smith and Simon Gallup, who at the time was the bassist for the Magpies. They did it to see if they were musically compatible. Smith got a local postman, Frank Bell, to sing the lyrics. "I Dig You" was the B-side to "I'm A Cult Hero" and Frank Bell sings that one too. Matthieu Hartley, also from the Magpies, plays keyboards and Porl plays guitar in both songs. Both Simon and Matthieu left the Magpies and join the Cure. Cool song.
