Loving someone so much but having little reason. Feeling familiarity with someone you don't know very well but know you feel comfortable with.
It remains a mystery where but the question "when" suggests that time certainly is a factor. And unless amnesia took place...it's probably referring to another lifetime.
I don't know... this is just a 30's showtune - I think it's just metaphorical. He feels so familiar with her it's like they've met before. Haven't heard the Harry Connick version but I doubt it can beat Dion and the Belmonts!
This song means that you are with the person that you have always dreamed about, and the occasion is as you had imagined. I totally get it as a person who has dreamt somedthing and at some point watched it unfold. Amazing when it happens!
