Fun With Drugs Lyrics
sick distorted colors that stab into your skin
the fluctuating light that comes from within
acid on the tongue goes straight through your brain
falling on the floor as you wince in pain
try to escape, but there's nowhere left to run to
i see you fall again on your face
nevermind this horrid disgrace
i see you, i feel you, i know you, i own you
i see you, i feel you, i know you, i own you
i see your skin is falling off your face
and fall onto the floor
time drips away from the world
and the time that you spent is an underworld
i cannot see, but i know you're sick
and i do not mind that you try
anticipate about the world inside
and take some more and fry your mind
sick distorted colors that stab into your skin
the fluctuating light that comes from within
acid on the tongue goes straight through your brain
falling on the floor as you wince in pain
i see you, i feel you, i know you, i own you
i see you, i feel you, i know you, i own you
in your mind
in your place
in your sickness
in disgrace
in your mind
in your face
i know you never wanted this
the fluctuating light that comes from within
acid on the tongue goes straight through your brain
falling on the floor as you wince in pain
i see you fall again on your face
nevermind this horrid disgrace
i see you, i feel you, i know you, i own you
and fall onto the floor
time drips away from the world
and the time that you spent is an underworld
and i do not mind that you try
anticipate about the world inside
and take some more and fry your mind
the fluctuating light that comes from within
acid on the tongue goes straight through your brain
falling on the floor as you wince in pain
i see you, i feel you, i know you, i own you
in your place
in your sickness
in disgrace
in your face
i know you never wanted this

Yes the vocalist did drugs. Perhaps he felt motivated to make a song the music stops and the voice over seems to be the most important "You can turn your back on a person, but you can never turn your back on a drug."
Very anti-drug mention.
I really love this song. The voiceovers not listed in the lyrics are from (I believe) the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
yeah, great movie
cooel song
I love this song also. But it makes me wonder if the artist is a junkie. :|
I doubt that the artist is a drug user. I think this song is against drugs. In this song he tells us that it's bad to use drugs. Of course he mentions the nice feelings drugs can give, but the lyrics also speaks as of the drug side - "I see you, I feel you, I know you, I own you". And it's true, drugs "know" what feelings people want. I suppose that "i know you never wanted this" is about addiction.
on the website, it says something about their music being a mirror of what they see in society and yes, the vocalist did drugs, then went to rehab
Yeah, Bryan (the one constant member of VAC) did a large amount of drugs throughout the early nineties. He reformed sometime right before this album was released. By the time of "Hex Angel," he was straight-edge. Still is.
