This song is DEFINITELY about LSD.
No, every song from the Beatles is not about drugs, but this one is. It comes off of Revolver, an album devoted almost entirely to drugs. Liquid sunshine, orange sunshine, are names for LSD. It's funny - when people don't understand something, they rush to put other people down cause they want everything to fit their own world-view. Like "Gee, this can't be about drugs!!!!"
Most of "Revolver" is about drugs:

sunshine was a drug, it was also know as orangae sunshine yellow sunshine, it was a differnet blend of lcd it was really popular in the 60's hard to find today cause all lcd realted drugs are called acid anyway its about being in love and tripping on acid
I can take it one of two ways: Either it being a love song to some one named Sunshine, or it is just saying what a great day, the sun is shinning, I'm in love, and walking with her in the sun, what could be better than this!
I don't think this song is necessarily about drugs. Why are people constantly convinced that every Beatles song is about drugs? Anyway, this is the first Beatles song I fell in love with, and it means a lot to me. I found it on a message board about songs that changed people's lives, and gave it a listen. I watched A Hard Day's Night this past Christmas, and I discovered the wonder of the Beatles. My musical taste is better for it.
If you have ever tripped all night on LSD and watched the sun come up you understand this song.
