I know it's not always a party
Livin with a guy like me who's always in outer space
Maybe I don't know what's good for me
I never thought a girl like you could ever change my ways

Lately I've been fellin uneasy
Thought it might have been some thing I said I didn't mean
If you get to know me much better
You will see it's never my intention to be mean

You make me weightless
When I get home I float around my whole livingroom
You make it painless
Like I am on acetaminophen all the time

Tracy my sister thinks I'm crazy
Falling for a girl that's gonna leave me in the end
I don't know but i'm gonna chance it
You never know with this kind of thing anything could change

You make me weightless
When I get home I float around my whole livingroom
You make it painless
Like I am on acetaminophen all the time
all the time

This is me and my ex's song. I think it's the greatest love song ever. I can just picture two people being so in love that they feel the way that this song describes. It's beautiful in its own unique way.

I aggree with concrete girl. Indeed it is a great love song. I interpreted it like so: a guy falls for a girl, naturally. However this girl, who ends up becoming the object of his affection is different from the previous girls he has dated who porbably get bored after a while, leave him after lust and move on to the next big thing. Aside from the other girls, she has so much more substance to offer him and her good intentions are deeply influencing, thus changing him for the better. He gets really involved with this girl and starts to care about her. She makes him weightless because she cares for him so much and makes him feel good about himself. The love between these 2 indivuals is very empowering and beautiful and lastly weightless...

Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
