Last Flight Out Lyrics

(Verse 1)
I'm so scared that you will see
All the weakness inside of me
I'm so scared of letting go
That the pain I feel will show,
Oh
I know you want to hear me speak
But I'm afraid that if
I start to I'll never stop

(Chorus)
I want you to know you
Belong in my life
I love the hope I see in your eyes
For you I would fly
At least I would try
For you I'll take
The last flight out

(Verse 2)
I'm afraid that you will leave
As my secrets have been revealed
(Oh)
In my dreams you'll always stay
Every breathing moment
From now on (Oh, yeah)
I know you (I know, yeah)
Want to hear me speak (Yeah)
But I'm afraid that if
I start to I'll never stop

(Chorus)
I want you to know you
Belong in my life
I love the hope I see in your eyes
For you I would fly
At least I would try
For you I'll take
The last flight out

(Verse 3)
I cannot hold back
The truth no more
I let you wait too long
(Wait to long)
Although it's hard
And scares me so
A life without you
Scares me more
Scares me more
(Scares me more)
{Scares me more}

(Chorus)
The last flight our
For you I would fly,
At least I would try
For you I'll take
The last flight out
I want you to know you
Belong in my life
(You belong in my life)
I love the hope
I see in your eyes
(I see in your eyes, baby)
For you I would fly
(For you I would fly),
At least I would try
(At least I would try)
For you I'll take
The last flight out

Its about being afraid to let a girl see the inner side of you because of fear that she wont like him. Its saying he would take the last flight out for her. Obviously, stating hed go to the ends of the earth to prove hes changed.

No offense, but this is a Christian song, and I doubt it's about a girl. I really dislike this band for selling out so much (and sharing a stage with Algore. How could they?), but I know this song is about giving it to God and saying that, even though you're afraid, you'll trust Him.

@Toramitsu Plus One was one of the first true boybands, along side True Vibe. If you think they sold out, keep in mind that they were on Atlantic Records before 2 guys quit, and they swapped labels. Eventually they disbanded, and then Nate and Gabe created Castledoor, got married, and for awhile their wives joined in.

That being said - this was totally about relationships. Did you not see the MV? Unfortunately, since they tried to keep it as innocent as possible, the acting all looked dead. The actresses looked spaced out. But the idea was showing that they're still guys...

Actually, Toramitsu, while it can be interpreted that way, Plus One themselves said that some of their songs are songs about relationships with girls (from a Christian perspective.) Christians, of course, deal with those kinds of issues too. :) The music video of it even has a bunch of girls in it..

My opinion is that it's a really sweet song which I can understand a lot of the meaning behind. 'Although it's hard and scares me so a life without you scares me more.' How do you know when is the right time to tell how you feel? Will you lose the person?

Anyway, this is a site about your personal meaning behind the song, and it can be seen as trusting in God too. :) At least this one can, as compared to the Plus One song that starts 'Whereever you are.. tonight, girl, I'll see you in my dreams..' and later says 'your kiss and your touch I'll never forget'. Lol, I somehow don't think that one is about God that time. ;)

And, if you're worried about Christian bands 'selling out', I think a better one to worry about would be Jaci Velasquez or maybe Stacie Orrico. But I wouldn't worry too much anyway. :) You can't put artists on a pedestal, because sometimes even Christians have times they fall.
