The name of this site should be changed from songmeanings to be a dumbass and just post whether you like this song or not.net. Its sad that led zeppelin's fanbase is now a bunch or teenage mororns. This song is about someone who knows that change is coming, change is needed, and someone whos going to do something about it. THe song is a rally cry for change. Its too bad the listeners only care about the drum beat because they've completely missed the message.
I believe Night Flight is a song about the draft dodgers of the Vietnam War..great song
I seriously hate this song. Out of all the Zeppelin songs on the first six albums, this is the worst. It is 100% filler.

I love this song. Some of the lyrics are realyl catchy.
I don't understand why everyone hates this song. The drums alone make this a kick ass song. I will admit without Bonzo's touch, this song probably would be pretty lame.
