Stroker Ace Lyrics

Monsieur-dame
Can I come with you?
As you both look awfully kind

Sadly, he and me are through
Let me tell you what I've got in mind
I'll sing to you my mewing charm
Looks like you both could use a pet
And purr my purr all night long
I think a pussy's your best bet

Stroke that shiny coat
Stroking is the antidote
Stroke that, it's a start
Only for the wild at heart

Stroke that shiny coat
Stroking is the antidote
Stroke that shiny coat
Stroking's what it's all about

My tail alone could tell you tales
It's got a life all of its own
Watch it move just like a sail
Sail you to the twilight zone
I love to lap a spot of cream
And I assure you that I'm neat
But you never know what you can expect
When the pussy is in heat

Stroke that shiny coat
Stroking is the antidote
Stroke that, it's a start
Only for the wild at heart

Stroke that shiny coat
Stroking is the antidote
Stroke that shiny coat
Stroking's what it's all about

I like to watch, if you don't mind
Every Sphinx knows how to pass the time
Your little love nest suits me well
Let me show you how to cast a spell

Stroke that shiny coat
Stroking is the antidote
Stroke that it's a start
Only for the wild at heart

Stroke that shiny coat
Stroking is the antidote
Stroke that shiny coat
Stroking's what it's all about

the first line is actually "monsieur-dame(s)" which means "sir(s) and madam(s)" and is why she later says "you BOTH look awfully kind". so no, she doesn't want dan. well, maybe she does, but, she doesn't say his name in this song. i think this song is about her wanting to have a threesome with a couple after breaking up with her boyfriend, which is secretly what all girls want to do after going through a break up.

well a little trivia note -

in the end of the song (it isn't written in the lyrics) there's a couple of line from Marilyn Monroe's probable most famous movie, Some Like It Hot. I didn't catch the exact lines coz english is not my native language but it start with "I don't know what it is...."

great movie btw, Marilyn Monroe rux!

"I don't know what it is, they just curdle me. All they have to do is play eight bars of 'Come to Me, My Melancholy Baby'

and my spine turns to custard. I get goose pimply all over and I come to 'em"

umm im confused...i understand the song but I do not know why in this and another song...she starts off with mentioning Dan....Is she talking about Dan the Automator? Great song by the way...her voice is so sexual along with the lyrics

Maybe cause she wants to have hot, hot sex with him???

Goddamn. Jennifer Charles has what is easily the sexiest voice of all time. Everything about this song is perfect... the beat, her voice, and the steady stream of what can barely be considered double entendres.

As for the meaning of this song? If you can't figure it out, you must be dead.

this is obviously both

  1. literally about a cat. there's so many references i don't really think i need to point them all out.

  2. about sex and voyeurism. again, duh.

really great song, by the way.

it's about a couple performing oral sex on each other. not that complicated.

Pretty sure that this is about her approaching a couple for a threesome. She offers herself to them as a pet, constantly referring to herself as a cat (which allows plenty of puns on the word 'pussy').
