As I walk down the highway all I do is sing this song
And a train that's passin' my way helps the rhythm move along
There is no doubt about the words are clear
The voice is strong, is oh so strong
I'm just a simple guy, I live from day to day
A ray of sunshine melts my frown and blows my blues away
There's nothing more that I can say but on a day like today
I pass the time away and walk a quiet mile with you
All I need from you is all your love
All you got to give to me is all your love
All I need from you is all your love
All you got to give to me is all your love
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh yeah, oh yeah
I'm so glad I'm living and gonna tell the world I am
I got me a fine woman and she says that I'm her man
One thing that I know for sure gonna give her all the loving
Like nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody can
Standing in the noonday sun trying to flag a ride
People go and people come, see my rider right by my side
It's a total disgrace, they set the pace, it must be a race
And the best thing I can do is run
All I need from you is all your love
All you got to give to me is all your love
All I need from you is all your love
All you got to give to me is all your love
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
And a train that's passin' my way helps the rhythm move along
There is no doubt about the words are clear
The voice is strong, is oh so strong
I'm just a simple guy, I live from day to day

All you got to give to me is all your love
All I need from you is all your love
All you got to give to me is all your love

I'm so glad I'm living and gonna tell the world I am

this is one of the lesser known Zeppelin tunes. I think it is incredible. Zeppelin III rules!
The phrase Out on The Tiles means out on the town. This is a very catchy lesser known song.
Bonzo used to sing a verse when they were getting ready to go out to drink/ party "I've had a pint of bitter and now i'm feeling better and i'm out on the tiles. We're going down the rubbers and we're going to pull some scrubbers because we're out on the tiles" they cleaned up the lyrics for the actual song
I never knew what the expression "Out on the Tiles" meant and how it related to this song. I posted a question while back on a literary forum and got the answer from several different people from England. It is a reference to a Tomcat out at night, walking on roof tiles (a lot of roofs in England are made of slate, not shingles like we have in the U.S.), looking out for a good time to be had. Of course Led Zep was infamous for their escapades with groupies and being "Out on the Tiles" themselves. It's ironic then if you read the lyrics to this song it really seems like it's more of a love song about true love with one woman!
I got me a fine woman and she says that I'm her man, One thing that I know for sure gonna give her all the loving Like nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody can.
It's another favorite song of mine that you just can't feel bad while you are listening to it! It seems to me to be more about life, however, than partying -- kind of has two personalities going on at once.
they changed the lyrics during production of this song, they originaly had a set of lyrics that go with a night out on the town.
Bonzo that verse is filthy. Loving it.
they used the intro of this song to open "Black Dog" on some live versions
At precisely 1:23 into the song, you can hear someone say 'Stop!' It has been rumoured that Plant said this because Page was making faces at him while he was trying to sing.
really? i've heard it's rumored to be jimmy... keeping time.
how did you get the ringtone for tmobile anyway zeppelin duznt allow them to use ringtones i think you need a license and zeppelin is very strict in not giving their licenses for movies needing songs or w/e or did u record it yourself and put it on .. and im assuming the chorus which is the best part of the song except for the beginning drum part its a great song one that ive recently discovered as another great song by the MIGHTY ZEPPELIN!!!
One of my favorites.
