this song was done by Split Enz, but you are right Split Enz eventually became Crowded House but they did this while under the name Split Enz
OK, time to set the record straight! This was purely a Split Enz song. Split Enz ('nz' for New Zealand, where I'm from) originated in the early 70's. Tim Finn later invited his younger brother to join the band, Neil Finn. He was in Split Enz until the end, around the mid 80's. Neil later formed Crowded House, along with some Austrailian members. Later, he invited Tim to join his band (!), and did a tour and a record together. Tim left before Crowded House split up in the later 90's. They were actually different bands, quite different sounds and lyrics. Both were bloody good bands.
yea, this is a really great song, originally done by a new zealand band caleld split enz(i think, the guys who did this song were in several bands...), and i absolutly love the PJ version of it
actually this song was done by band called Crowded House, a couple of members were from Split Enz or something..
ah ok.. sorry heh =c} just only ever heard it refered to as "History Repeats by Crowded House" name changes are confusing j/k
