This song doesn't seem like it's about having fun at all. To me it seems sad. Like the stupid empty things we do to fill time in our life. It's blatantly about wasting away. Let's face it though, we all spend most of our time doing nothing.

I love the lullaby music at the beginning. I also read somewhere in an interview that Bren said it was about a night he and Matt Skiba spent together. shrugs
this song does not seem to be about simply having fun. Bunny has it right. Its about the stupid shit we do to occupy our days and nights, and how in the end it all feels useless.If you get drunk often, you will know what it is like to regret the stupid shit you have done the night before in a drunken state. It is defintiely more of a frustrated sad song, than a happy song.
