Every Little Thing Lyrics
When I'm walking behind her
People tell me I'm lucky
Yes, I know I'm a lucky guy
I remember the first time
I was lonely without her
Yes, I'm thinking about her now
Every little thing she does
She does for me, yeah
And you know the things she does
She does for me, oh
When I'm with her I'm happy
Just to know that she loves me now
There is one thing I am sure of
I will love her forever
For I know love will never die
Every little thing she does
She does for me, yeah
And you know the things she does
She does for me, oh
Every little thing she does
She does for me, yeah
And you know the things she does
She does for me, oh
People tell me I'm lucky
Yes, I know I'm a lucky guy
I remember the first time
I was lonely without her
Yes, I'm thinking about her now
Every little thing she does
She does for me, yeah
And you know the things she does
She does for me, oh
When I'm with her I'm happy
Just to know that she loves me now
There is one thing I am sure of
I will love her forever
For I know love will never die
Every little thing she does
She does for me, yeah
And you know the things she does
She does for me, oh
Every little thing she does
She does for me, yeah
And you know the things she does
She does for me, oh

Why make a post like that...completely meaningless.
This song is about an undieing love for another being. It is realizing you love someone; the way you think about them all the time and are lonely when they are not around. Realizing the things you do are for eachother.
i cant believe nobody has posted on this awesome song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ringo Starr plays timpani on this...enough said.
This song is just the sweetest. :) I remember a friend giving me this song for a Friendster testimonial. :)
I second Orion there. Ringo playing timpani?? Awesomeness right there.
Was covered by Yes on their first album.
A silly love song from the pre-Dylan influence years. It's the type of early love song Lennon later disdained but was so superlative at composing. What makes it usual (aside from the timpani) is the way it modulates down on the word "thing." Even though the words are about celebrating the relationship, it actually gives the song a tinge of sadness. Maybe her slavish devotion is a bit smothering? George's 12 string is also great on this.
