Eight Days a Week Lyrics
Oh, I need your love babe, guess you know it's true
Hope you need my love babe just like I need you
Hold me, love me
Hold me, love me
Ain't got nothing but love, babe
Eight days a week
Love you every day girl, always on my mind
One thing I can say girl, love you all the time
Hold me, love me
Hold me, love me
Ain't got nothing but love, babe
Eight days a week
Eight days a week I love you
Eight days a week is not enough to show I care
Oh, I need your love babe, guess you know it's true
Hope you need my love babe, just like I need you
Hold me, love me
Hold me, love me
Ain't got nothing but love, babe
Eight days a week
Eight days a week I love you
Eight days a week is not enough to show I care
Love you every day girl, always on my mind

this was their eighth no. 1 single, and seems like it's a little exaggerated
This song has a kind of innocence to it that makes it impossible to not like. The prospect of loving somebody forever, for eight days a week, epitomizes a loveable naivety that made so many Beatles songs great.
Paul first heard the phrase "eight days a week" from a substitute chauffeur who drove him to John's home in Weybridge that day. Asked by Paul if he had had a busy recent schedule, the driver replied "Busy?! I've been working eight days a week." This was the first Beatles track with a faded intro rather than a faded outro.
this is prolly my favorite of all the beatles songs...when i hear it i just can't help but think about my one and only!!!...it was with him that i 1st heard this song!! THE BEATLES ARE AWESOME!!! i love em!
I Love Eight Days A Week Its A Great Song To Sing Too!
I can never not dance my heart out when hear this song!
Self explanitory, I love it, love isn't a job, it's a privelage, and eight days a week expresses its power to stretch out beyond the scientific limitations (physics - seven days...duh).
The Beatles are sonic candy, nothin' better...
The Film "A Hard Days Night" was originally going to be called "Eight Arms to Hold You" (shit title) so Paul McCartney wrote this to be the lead track. When they decided to change the title to "A Hard Days Night" John Lennon legged it home to write the title song to get it in before Paul could come up with a new song.
This song holds so many memories.. When I was younger I used to go camping alot and Dad had a tape recorder playing music, and this is one song that has stuck in my head as a camping memory..
Lovely.
