george thought this was one of the worst songs he's ever wrote. i like it!
this is a well structured song with some neat chords.
it just proves that George was the QUIET BEATLE because he wants no one to talk to him

I don't think any of the Beatles were too crazy about this one. Unfortunately George Martin didn't feel George Harrison had it in him to create songs that rivaled Lennon/McCartney. Later on, however he was proven wrong when Harrison wrote 'Something'

When George wrote this he was in bed suffering from the flu (hence the title.) The original title was "Piss Off and Leave Me to Suffer on My Bed of Pain!" but obviously it wasn't snappy enough.
Someone broke up with him and he feels lost. "I'll let you know when she comes home, until that day." He's holding on. I almost feel like I am there. Was she better for him or without him he felt free?
