i quit this conversation
you´re right and i am done
i think you make yourself a victim
there´s nothing good enough
there´s only one
colour deep grey and a bitter taste
you don´t know what´s there if you don´t try
shut up stand up
you drive me up the wall
shut up stand up
i heard it all before
shut up stand up
i quit this conversation
you don´t let your feelings show
i don´t know what you got inside
shut up stand up
you drive me up the wall
shut up stand up
i heard it all before
shut up stand up
by the way i wanna have a good time with you
it´s friday night and i wanna go out
i need some air and a place to go
so won´t please shut up

I have no idea what that guys said in German.....but I love this song...It is probaby my favorite Beatsteaks song, it totally rocks. I love the part when he goes "Shut the fuck up!" It is way awesome. I think the song is pretty much about the same thing as Let Me In, a guy and a chick in a relationship where the chick won't open up and tell the dude how she feels. "I quit this conversation, You don't let your feelings show". This song is so awesome.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
