Robert said something about a night in a bar doing singing against other people and another chick sang 'the 13th' but it was different, and the song was inspired by that. I can imagine a complete different music video in my head... one which includes dancing, hip thrusting, and smeared lipstick lol. -Amanda

Listening to this song, I think it's about drugs. Like... "I know tomorrow, I'll feel bad... but I really couldn't care about that..." it almost sounds like he is trying a kind of drug for the first time. Also, it sounds like he's either having sex or is going to have sex.

in my mind this song is about a guy wanting to have sex with a girl when he shouldnt for some reason. she is some sort of performer, eying him from the stage and is sexually forward, he wants to refuse but cant. this isnt usual for him so he is suprised, but is enjoying not being himself, maybe not caring or the sexual freedom. cool song, i like how convincing Robert Smith is.
I meant to add LOL to my last comment because in the song he says " I think tomorrow I'll feel bad...." But I love RS voice in this song and the way he does voice changes to tell a story.
