my god, i totally love this song.....thanks black cow. i love the way its so different, i dont know if anyone else thinks this but do you not think that at the drive-in have a very distint south american sound to them? i know they are hispanic and all but their sound is amazing........and i am so depressed they are no longer one, but hey this song sounds like some of the stuff cedric and omar are doing with mars volta...........totally rock! love to everybody.

This song is really cool, because basically I wrote a song with almost the same lyrics...very odd, but maybe one day my song will be on here too and you can see what I mean....

No real comment on the lyrics aside from the fact that they're oddly blues-like (when you don't consider the trademark aloofness of Cedric's voice), but I think this song is great because it's borderline electronica considering the plethora of effects. I don't know why they didn't take the two songs that were on this split and put them on an LP or EP because they should be heard more than they are.

I hate this song. I was disapointed in it. Its one of those song u love or hate i guess.

Mars volta and the mars volta are diff bands.

Catacuache. I agree that these songs should have made it farther than they had. Extracurricular is one of my favorite ATDI songs. But I guess it's cool because it has a certain feel to it, like if you know the song, you can say you know it because you have one of the rarities.

Man I REALLY love Extracurricular. I really need to give this song another chance.

I love the guitar in the background of this song. It's one of those things that makes or breaks the song. At first listen, I hated this song but then I started listening to it just to get to the guitar part (hard to explain, just picking a few mellow notes high on the neck) and eventually the song grew on me. I also really really like the lyrics. Very un ATD-I like, theyr'e so simple and to the point.
