"we live like penguins in the desert, why can't we live like tribes" it says on the dredg cd case. obviously this has reference to this song. could it be the feeling that we should be living more as a society rather than people struggling for their own? certainly could... it paints a beautiful picture, but as for its meaning, i havent thought much yet.

I think its about being traped in a never ending suffering. as if you were a penguin in the desert. never seeing the end but always trying to get free. somtimes i feel like this. dont we all?

Dredge has a very poetic sounding tune.. they can maximize the music without getting out of control.. and that to me is more important than anything else about a band...

I love this song. the way it fades in and out of the two songs its between is awesome. And the guitar riff is one of the most kickass I have ever heard.
