I, personally, think, he got the girl, then lost her, and simply cant get over her. "I tried to make you happy / I did all that I could / Just to keep you / But you left anyways". Theme song of my life right about now .... but, I guess thats most teenagers lives right? Always wanting what we cant have.

I think this song is about an unrequited love. No matter how hard the guy tries, he just can't get the girl. I know how that goes. It's so hard to get over someone.

This song I can so relate to becuz I get so attached to certain girlfriends I've had and I do everything to make them happy, but in the end they still leave me... I dunno... I guess that's just me... meh lol
