Worry About You Lyrics
Bye bye baby.
Don't be long.
I'll worry about you while you're gone.
Bye bye baby.
Don't be long.
I'll worry about you while you're gone.
I'll think of you in my dreams.
You'll never know just what you mean to me.....
....to me.
Hmmm, ba, ba-da...
Hmmm, ba, ba, ba-da......
Bye bye baby.
Don't be long.
I'll worry about you while you're gone.
Bye bye baby.
Don't be long.
I'll worry about you while you're gone.
I'll think of you night and day.
I'll never know just what you meant to say....
....to say.
Hmmm, ba, ba-da...
Hmmm, ba, ba, ba-da......
Hmmm, ba, ba-da...
Hmmm, ba, ba, ba-da......
Don't be long.
I'll worry about you while you're gone.
Bye bye baby.

My idea of this song os fairly distorted since I first heard it as the theme song to "Kingdom Hospital", a Stephen King horror series about a hospital haunted by ghosts who were involved in 2 horiffic incidents in the hospital's past >_>
I think it's probably about having a crush on someone who's gone somewhere, perhaps to fight in a war. Wherever it IS that they've gone, there's a definete sense that the speaker doesn't know for sure whether the person will ever come back, and she's basically wondering how the person felt about her and accepting the possibility that she may go through life never knowing the answer to that question. She's also sad because she never got the courage or a chance to tell the person how she felt (You'll never know, just what you mean to me...)
This was the song that started it all - my infatuation with Ivy. This song is a lot darker and moodier than most of their other tunes.
Given the simple lyrics, the meaning is easy to decipher.
Hehe, I basically posted to profess my love for this song :)
another song I first heard on roswell. i love how soft ivy's songs always are, and this one is no exception.
"I'll think of you night and day I'll never know just what you meant to say,"
i hate that feeling of realizing you'll never know something. that the knowledge of whatever is there will be denied to you no matter what, and all you can do is accept it.
at least the nice bababas at the end make the disappointment feel less bad because it's so calm and uplifting. =P
I think hatrickpatrick summarized this song pretty well
