its very deep. i never really sat down and thought about what a devo lyric meant until now. i love them. they rock my life.
I think it says alot of finding ones self, in a sense. We are stuck in this perpetual pattern of conformity. When they say "in this land where stability is hard to find" I think it has alot to do with saying "f*ck it" and doing what you want to do. Ya know? Don't fall into the same patterns as everyone else.
