Growing Pains Lyrics
So young so strong
Ignorance is bliss
Thin skin caught up again
In a place like this
Big people set the trap for you
Using you-know-what for brains
You're just another lab experiment
And you're easy to replace
Too much too soon
Sensors overload
Brought down, chased out of town
Another dangerous road
Simply a problem of biology
It's a choice you never make
The scene is set and you're subjected to
A lethal dose of growing pains
Think it through
Logic must be made for fools
Leave them now
And be a has-been who never was
They'll set you up with pains that grow
Ignorance is bliss
Thin skin caught up again
In a place like this
Using you-know-what for brains
You're just another lab experiment
And you're easy to replace
Sensors overload
Brought down, chased out of town
Another dangerous road
It's a choice you never make
The scene is set and you're subjected to
A lethal dose of growing pains
Logic must be made for fools
Leave them now
And be a has-been who never was
They'll set you up with pains that grow

Really great song.
"So young so strong, ignorance is bliss" Boy do I know how that feels. When you grow up in a religious/emotionally suppressed/old traditionalist environment you become so ignorant. We're simply a problem of biology. And it's a "choice you never make". Your parents have complete control of what you think. In that sense maybe it's saying many of us are still being forced to grow up in these old traditions.
"Big people set the trap for you Using you-know-what for brains You're just another lab experiment And you're easy to replace" Talking about corporations maybe, and how to them we're just a guinea pig.
