I haven't heard or seen the lyrics to this song in so long. When I read them now, I got kinda choked up. This song is so deep. To me, it is all those friends you have that you may be far from, but you refuse to let go of. It is the true meaning of friendship. Ok I need a kleenex now...
I like this song... I have a friend that I always think of when I hear this song...and we're not that close anymore, but whenever we get together...it's like...we're sisters that live across the country for each other...and since theres so much love there we can just pick up where we left off. i can always confide in her. and i think this song is kind of about that. You might move away from or grow apart from a good friend, but if they really are a good friend...you'll always wish them all the happiness in the world, and you'll always have a special place in their heart.
Omg, this song is so beautiful. I hadnt heard it for years until I brought out my old casper video. It reminds me of a very special friend who I have that lives in a different state then me and no matter how far away he is, he'll always be in my heart and I will never lose him.

I just heard this song tonight and I have listened to it 3 more times. When the words play, its almost as if my late grandfather is talking to me. I watched him pass away with my own 2 eyes and felt his soul leave his body. This song has me in my feelings because I'm hitting a rough patch financially and Granddaddy's there to remind me that he os sending a special wish for me.
@kristyn101 This song was played moments ago in the radio. I am still grieving on my late grandmother as she passed away last week. She passed away in her sleep next to me. I also felt its almost as if she was talking to me. I had hard time processing all of this and to accept that she was already gone. Seems like I'll be grieving for her as long as I live.

This song always thinking of remembering your friends and family all around you. Your memories will always remain and remembered in that way, every now and then....

This song might just be the "Casper" song to some, but to me it has much deeper meaning. Three years ago I donated a kidney to my 8 year old nephew who was dying of total renal failure. Right before we went into surgery, I played this song for him. He's just as special to me as are my own five kids! Very touching words.
This song makes me think of all the good friends I've had over the years...they stuck by me through a lot, and I am forever grateful for having their friendship during some tough times.
