Margarita Lyrics

It was in Pittsburgh late one night
I lost my hat, got into a fight
I rolled and tumbled till I saw the light
Went to the big apple, took a bite

Still the sun went down your way
Down from the blue into the gray
Where I stood I saw you walk away
You danced away

I asked her what we're gonna do tonight
She said "Cahuenga Langa-Langa-Shoe Box Soup"
We better keep tryin' till we get it right
Tala mala sheela jaipur dhoop

She wrote a long letter on short piece of paper

Great Song – what talent from 5 musical greats – the intro, definitely sounds like Lynn and his new wave 80’s keyboard sound of ELO.

Fantastic song. Even more fantastic though, is the band that played it. Just a bunch of aging superstars who thought they'd give it another go in show-business. You can tell they didn't expect to make it big. They just wanted to have a little fun.

Always loved the line, "She wrote a long letter, on a short piece of paper," but never could figure out what they meant. Maybe nothing.

don't ask me I have no idea. I always wondered what the lyrics on this meant I am not sure anymore, I think all the songs on this album were jokes just about .

Maybe she had really small handwriting, so she managed to fit a lot of words on it. But why it's even mentioned, I don't know.
