eh...the lyrics are actually completely correct. this person posted these lyrics before the version you know was released. i know the band, this song was played back in 2001, and their one guitarist/vocalist, rob, does an acoustic version as well, using the lyrics here. they redid the song almost completely with the harder sound, which is probably what you're getting off of mp3.com. the only real differences are: rob sings in the background "and i know, i should have known all the times she looked at me. "brace yourself, strength finds a place in me" and joe now sings "just wait and you'll see you're everything i want, don't take this from me. just wait and you'll see, you're everything i've fought, don't take this from me now" and the the line about snow falling harder has been removed. it's been my favorite HIPV song since april 2001 when i first heard it. as for it's meaning, it's kind of apparent that it's about missing someone you broke up with, or something of that nature.

AHH i love this song. its soooo great!!! i think its about how sometimes everything falls apart and you feel like your everything is being taken away farther and farther from you...
definetly something a lot of people can relate to.. if you know what im talking about then, yeah.. its not the greatest feeling.. but its an awesome song~

i saw hipv play a couple weeks ago and they rocked the whole place. cars were lined up for almost a mile to see them, i was lucky enough to sneak in. im glad i did cause they kiked so much ass. the scene here in north jersey is amazing, if you like hipv check out madison, rydia, far from bliss, aspen it is, the forever endeavor, and feeling left out. they r all amazing local bands. and if u r in the bergen county area u should definetly come to a show.
