This is just... a beautiful song. Free has one of the best voices I've heard, and I wish she'd get a lil more recognition than I'm currently seeing here. I know out of the nearly 40 thousand members and god knows how many unregistered viewers, there's more than a handful of Kidneythieves fans. And if not, there should be, cause damnit, they're good.

I agree, this is a great song by a great band. It's too bad that not many people know of them.
I thought this song was about discovering how fake something is. Not really losing it. Its also about breaking out of the things wich youve been made to believe such as a child being tought religion. Fath being cursed upon you. It limits your view of the world. Killer of thought. Asking sweet jesus for the answer is a way of showing the trained thought patterns.
When I really listen to the lyrics I think that it might be about someone who has suffered a rape and her thoughts in retrospect in how she's been affected.

I definitely think that this song is about a rape survivor.
