I feel I'm missing the point. as if Eddie is trying to say something, and I miss it completely.
But still- it's a great song.
Maybe there's some hidden message, but it seems to me it's just about prostitution and lust. That outside he seems respectable "I'm white (pure) on the outside", but secretly he's obsessed with sex "the truth that lies at home It's on the inside". It also seems like he's actually married but still sleeping around (probably with prostitutes) "What she don't know today, might kill us both tomorrow"- physically but it could also kill their relationship.
Seems like a song about drug abuse to me, but it also seems to be about 27 other things, so who knows? Eddie has such a way of making a song have multiple meanings.
thats what i love about the band your view of a song will be diffrent from everyone else in this world. to me i think someting to do with ataxia. only because there is a band called ataxia and have a song with around the same meaning as this song (hence the name ataxia). i think that someone is afraid to speak out about something and it might kill their love to their lover or something. sort of like a stage im going throught (only being 15) when my mind is my own. hoping to get it sorted out soon though.
