This song is just so great. The confused desparation in the lyrics, the meandering, grinding solos - this is about a person who is left hanging again and again. Oh how it resonates.

This is such a great song. The lyrics are a bit confusing but here is my interpretation. To me this song is about someone who misses a old friend/lover etc.. But it’s been a long time and the relationship has sort of drifted... This person craves to reconnect with them but at the same time they hesitate to reach out to them first. This is either due to their own insecurity or just because they feel the other person won’t even care much as they do. So instead they suffer in silence hoping that person will come back into their life once again, only to be let down over and over again. I could be totally wrong 100% hahaha either way, this a great song. Kudos!
