This song is about how he gets on with life by himself and he's fine with it. It's similar to "Giving Up Giving In." This song is awesome, too bad it wasn't on Keasbey Nights. It sounds a lot like something Rancid would play.

this is my favorite catch-22 song, i used to listen to it my sophomore year in college which was like 10 years ago in 1997-98. i haven't heard it in awhile but i believe it doesn't have horns, its more of a punk song. i think its about how his only friend is the memories he has collected, like of his past, photographs, etc which he keeps in a shoebox. he also feels awkward and nervous when hes in social situations.
