This song tells me that mana is a sick, disturbed individual... which only makes me love him more! More like a misplaced poem than a song, really.
I absolutely love this Malice Mizer song. It's probably my favourite. Mana is so beautiful in every way. I can't imagine being able to create something so magical.
He is being hounded by his past and wants it too all go away. pretty simple stuff, really. just saying it how it is. :)

[About the title inre to Malicious Misery] Well, yuugi can either come to mean game or play... I guess something you know that isn't real. His character perhaps can't find any meaning in life/reality so he's wondering why he's still there, and if he's really there in the first place... perhaps bringing identity issues into it. Anyway, I like that a choir was incorporated into this, it's absolutely beautiful. The abstract words uttered also give it a vivid touch.
It's a beautiful song.. I do think they express themselves better in Japanese though ( Not that I understand Japanese, but I can read translations ^_^ ). But the weird english gives it a little extra something.
I once made a painting inspired on this song + clip, with parts of the lyrics written all over it. It looked sucky but I managed to confuse my arts teacher ^_^
I love this song, espcially since Mana also does vocals for it too(well Kozi, and yu-ki do too). In order to see that you'll have to watch them do it live.
